The Domain Escrow Process:
Domain Sales Contract (optional)
Both parties get a customized sales contract, professionally drawn up to
suit the needs of domain or website sales.
Payment to Escrow Account
Buyer places the funds in Afternic's Escrow account via wire transfer,
Paypal, or credit card (CC only for transactions under $500).
Domain Technical Transfer
Afternic works with both parties and their registrars to quickly and
securely transfer the domain. Through our contacts with major registrars
(Register.com, NetSol, eNom, GoDaddy, etc.) we can ensure the most
efficient transfer possible.
Payment to Seller
Once Afternic can confirm that the buyer is the owner of the domain name, we
remit the funds to the domain seller. With the conclusion of this step,
the transaction is finished.
